This course is designed to provide diagnostic personnel with an understanding of the biological effects of ionizing radiation. The information will serve as a standard to promote the safe use of ionizing radiation. The course will cover: interactions of x-radiation, exposure limits, cell biology, radiation biology, patient & occupational
protection, and radiation monitoring.
